Welcome To Jurassic Park

Sunday, 23rd November 2008

Hi Folks! It would appear that last week’s post sparked off a bit of controversy amongst readers and so I thought I’d better set the record straight by saying thank you to all those people who wrote in and posted comments about “Stupid People Breeding”. At the end of the day, even though the article was some-what condescending it was designed to highlight the fact that all of us should really think about our actions and how they effect other people but at the same time you have to strike a balance of standing out from the crowd and going with the flow to ensure that while you don’t upset people you are still able to think outside the box and come up with some great ideas.

Bangkok - Part 2

Sunday, 2nd November 2008

So last week you heard about part 1 of my adventures in Bangkok as part of the HP Micro Enterprise Grant and now its time for Part 2 - The HP Training of the Trainer (TOT).

Luckily I had the weekend off to go do some shopping and enjoy a bit of the city. I had the privilege of hanging out with Ashwin Koneti, one of the Indian delegates and I have to say that if you EVER get a chance to meet the guy, make sure you do something with him as he’s always getting himself into some adventure! He is also the KING of bargaining so I highly recommend that you take him shopping in order to get great discounts! So as you can imagine I’ve got a bunch of stories thanks to him, although none which are quite appropriate to tell you on this blog...
