Hey Hey! Last week I spent a bit of time on Twitter and came across some really interesting tweets from people tweeting about crazy inventions. Each tweet had a tag line of “Stroke of Genius” attached to it so I was curious to find out what was going on. When I delved into it further I found out that the tweets were part of a really cool competition called “Stroke of Genius” run by the Stroke Foundation of Australia to celebrate the creativity of the brain. What a awesome idea! Here’s a quick video of what I discovered:
For those of you who can’t see the video, here’s some quick facts about Stroke in Australia:
- Stroke is Australia’s second single greatest killer after coronary heart disease and a leading cause of disability.
- In the next ten years more than half a million people will suffer a stroke.
- Stroke kills more women than breast cancer.

So this week I challenge you to visit the Stroke of Genius website and register your genius idea to help raise awareness of this medical condition.
